Getting to the Third Round
___________________________________________________________________

For 2007 there are two ways of getting into the Third Round:

1. Use ANY language in the Second Round: The top participants
in the Second Round (25 May) will be invited to take part in
the Third Round (15 September) irrespective of the language they
use. Participants who want to do so may use the three months
between rounds to switch to Python.

OR

2. Use Python in the Second Round: The top Python users from the
Second Round will be invited to take part in the Third Round even if
they are not the top participants in the Second Round.

Once a contestant has been selected he/she has a few months to decide which language to use for the Third Round: C, C++, Java, Pascal or Python.
Contestants may choose any one of these languages – irrespective of which language was used for the Second Round.
